On 18 and 19 February 2010, Ambassador José Manuel Pinto Teixeira, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, will visit the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol where he will participate in the commemoration of the 65th anniversary of the Yalta Conference, hold meetings with the local authorities, and launch a new EU-funded project in Sevastopol.
On 18 February, Ambassador Pinto Teixeira will visit Yalta at the invitation of the Head of the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Mr Viktor Plakida. On 19 February he will meet with the Head of the Sevastopol City State Administration, Mr Sergiy Kunitsyn before attending the opening of an EU-funded project on energy efficiency.
